Each First Nation will pass a band council resolution (BCR) or letter of intent to host a ratification vote on the Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement. Ideally this (BCR/letter of intent) should be submitted at least 60 days prior to the start of the vote period to allow for preparations.
The Vote Staff at the Anishinabek Nation will support the First Nation in this process from the time the band council resolution or letter of intent is received until the First Nation is past the Appeal Period and the vote results are confirmed by the First Nation.
