The Anishinabek Grand Council mandated the Anishinaabe Anokiiwin Aanokiitoojig (Chiefs Committee on Governance). Made up of representatives from each of the four (4) regions of the Anishinabek Nation, the Chiefs Committee on Governance has provided guidance, leadership and direction to the draft Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement. Governance Working Group (GWG)
Anishinabek Nation Governance Agreement negotiators have also received grassroots input from our First Nations’ Governance Working Group. The Governance Working Group has been comprised of First Nations members who either have a background in administration, finance or governance issues.
